Image
Content and/or other value provided by our partner, Target. All opinions are my own.  #sponsored Summer is here! For many engaged that means their #TargetWedding day is upon them!  For me, there is nothing like making sure I get the soon to be married couples the perfect gift while personalizing it a bit for them.  I told you about my vacuum cleaner gift from their Target Registry  for my brother in law.  We gave them their a vacuum cleaner but gave them our own touch offering a tree topper for their Christmas tree.   We also told you how we definitively think Target is crucial to Marital Bliss We agree there is a lot of fun putting the bridal registry together, and more so at Target where, at least I, want one of everything every time I walk in.  Nesspresso coffee machines, Calphalon pots and pans, Kitchen aid mixers, adorable salt and pepper shakers for every taste and stylish serving and bar ware are perfect choices for every hou...

Easy Party Food to Celebrate Our Soccer Passion with the Perfect Pair- #GolazoKraft

Image
I am a member of the Collective Bias®  Social Fabric® Community. This shop has been compensated as part of a social shopper amplification for Collective Bias and its advertiser. Videos shared were made by Cool Moms Cool Tips Some say it is our Latin blood, some say we are just party people, but regardless of what it might be, it is true that pretty quickly any reason becomes a celebration.  Celebrations at home definitively mean there will be food and good times. With the world soccer celebration in full force, we have been following it very closely.  As you can anticipate, this means  we are cheering on teams with our friends and family everyday so far this month (so we have a celebration of sorts everyday), and I am ready with my simple party food .  Viva la fiesta del gol!  (hooray for the goal party!) The best part of "La Fiesta del Gol" is that heartfelt Goooooooooool! scream chanted in unison by big and small, with joy and  at the top of your lun...

Image
Just an hour drive North of Orlando we discovered West Volusia .  Wow!  Breathtaking in every way! We told you already how we got educated on some Florida history here  at DeBary in West Volusia.  Now, we are going to talk about the unparalleled natural beauty and treasure of activities at just one park.  We are in awe of Blue Spring State park and has become our family favorite of all time.   West Volusia Tourism Authority invited us to discover their paradise in exchange for our review.  All opinions expressed are our own. The first thing I need to mention is that as much as I admire, respect and love nature, I am not the camping type, mosquitoes make my life miserable and the humidity is not my best friend. This being said, I enjoyed the park so much we are considering renting one of the air conditioned cabins next fall. The park is located  at  2100 W. French Avenue  ...

Meeting the Girls for Cool Prime Time

Image
Oh what a long/ crazy/ busy/ hectic work and family week we had last week.  The weekend couldn't get to me fast enough, I was ready for it.  Lucky for me, I had the best jump start to the weekend because, last Friday, LongHorn Steakhouse  invited us to their restaurant and compensated us with a gift card to review them, but all opinions expressed are our own.  They gave me the perfect opportunity for a flavorful girls night out. I couldn't wait for the crazy rain storm to pass so I could get there for some fun times with my friends.  We had been invited to discover their new PrimeTime menu offered right now at most of their locations.  I was giddy with excitement and was ready to drive to the  Kendall location  for our little Tweet up.  You know it, we were all in total a happy mindset!  The restaurant itself is inviting and gives you that friendly steakhouse feel from the moment you set foot into it.  The perfect place to share som...

Fun, Learning and DIY Inspired by #DisneyJuniorFamilia

Image
Disney Junior is on very frequently on our household.  We enjoy all the shows and Hot Dog! the channel has gotten this mom very creative... This is part of a sponsored collaboration with Latina Mom Bloggers and Disney Junior . However, all opinions expressed are my own. It is easy getting a party going at our home when Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is on.  We encourage our children to watch the program because we love the values of team work, friendship, helping others in need that we see come alive in the show. So, Saturday morning when we practice our Spanish with episodes of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and  Handy Manny on Univision, we  decided to have a couple of friends come over to enjoy some popcorn and watch some Disney Junior. Mickey and the gang, and then heartfelt  characters like Doc McStuffins, Jake and The Neverland Pirates, and Chugginton definitvely are shows the children enjoy and I love for them to watch.  Right after enjoying Disney Junior, the kids ...

West Volusia Travels Tips: The Debary Hall - Historic Winter Home to Explore

Image
We were given access to the DeBary Hall by West Volusia Tourism to facilitate our review. All opinions expressed are our own.  On our latest getaway trip we ventured into West Volusia in Florida .  A little North of Orlando.  We were on our way to visit the DeBary Hall.  It was a big treat for us because Sr. Cool is very interested in History, and on the way of life in times passed.  A treat for me because in getting there we were totally lost which gave us the luxury of enjoying fabulous streets, home and lush Florida green. Beautiful and Lush Florida Vegetation It is not often that we come face to face with Florida history so this is a total treat for us.  This particular home takes us to the post civil war time, when it was all about reconstruction: DeBary Hall was the winter home of a  European-born wine merchant who chose the St. Johns River country for his hunting estate. Beginning in the 1870s, New Yorker Frederick deBary acquired lands near Lak...

Tips to Make the Most of Your Legoland Florida Visit

Image
Our brick fans were beyond any level of extreme happiness when they found out we were visiting Legoland!  We were given two tickets to the park to facilitate our review of it.  Of course the drive to the park was the longest ever with 3 little and 2 big eager lego builders. It was a wonderful sunny day, and when we finally arrived, the gate just furthered all excitement to finally be at the Legoland Park in Winter Haven, Florida.  Passing the gate we were greeted by dinos and elves hard at work, and the first store which we explored head to toe. It wasn't long before we meet Lego characters and of course had to pose with them to. You can imagine we had a blast and really enjoyed the park. With this post, we want to give you an overview of what you can expect and share a few tips that we discovered that perhaps will make a difference for your visit.  Here we go: The park is divided into these main sections: Funtown:  Legoland main street  with several stores...
